My husband and I stayed at Villa Paestum for 4 nights and we loved it! We pride ourselves on being budget-friendly travelers, and for the price we paid, we were exceptionally pleased!
The room was air-conditioned, very clean, and tastefully-yet-simply decorated. The bathroom was also very clean with a spacious shower and rainfall shower head.
We opted for the breakfast which was both tasty and plentiful: cappuccinos and espressos, with a delightful assortment of Italian pastries.
Next door to the villa is a pizza restaurant and a pastry shop. Two beaches are located within a 5-min walking distance: Lido Internazionale and Lido Marilena. (Both were sufficient, but we found Lido Marilena to be an upgrade compared to Lido Internazionale.) For 25 euro, you can get two beach chairs and an umbrella for the whole day! (Beach towels are not included.) The Archaeological Park and Museum are a 10-15 minute drive.
While the villa doesn’t have its own parking lot, free on-street parking is available.
Lorenzo and Ines were friendly and accommodating. Their hospitality is unparalleled. We highly recommend this villa and we would gladly stay there again.
